Jens Raven scores 6 goals as Indonesia U-23 crushes Brunei in ASEAN Cup

Jens Raven delivered an outstanding performance as Indonesia U-23 national team defeated Brunei Darussalam 8-0 in their Group A opener of ASEAN Cup U-23 2025 at Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium.

The young striker who recently joined Bali United from FC Dordrecht — scored five goals in the first half thanks to his teammates’ support. Rayhan Hannan, Robi Darwis, Achmad Maulana Syarif, and Muhammad Ferarri took turns providing precise passes to the 19-year-old player.

In the second half, the ball supply to Raven decreased — following several substitutions made by coach Gerald Vanenburg. The substitute players often chose to dribble independently with less effective decision-making.
