Jens Raven reveals reasons for joining Bali United

Jens Raven — Indonesia’s U-23 national team striker — officially joined Bali United on July 13, 2025, marking his debut in Indonesian football after spending his career in the Netherlands.

According to Bali United’s official website, the young player outlined several reasons for joining the Tridatu Soldiers:

“I know this club has great facilities and has won the Super League. Bali United is also ready to face competition, as a big team with changes in the Dutch coaching staff. There are many experienced players here and I can’t wait to help this team.”

The presence of coach Johnny Jansen also became one of the crucial factors influencing Raven’s decision to join the club from the Island of the Gods.
