Jens Raven Elbowed by Ahmad Aysar, Malaysia Player Shown Yellow Card

Jakarta, July 21, 2025 – Indonesia U-23 striker Jens Raven was involved in a rough incident during a left-wing attack in the 36th minute of their match against Malaysia U-23 at the 2025 AFF U-23 Championship. He fell to the ground after a physical clash with Malaysian defender Ahmad Aysar.

Replay footage showed Aysar committing a sliding challenge while his arm appeared to strike Raven in the stomach. The referee issued a yellow card to Aysar for the foul.

Raven was seen in visible pain but was able to continue playing. The incident added to the already heated atmosphere of the match, which had featured high emotions from both teams since kickoff.
