Jeka Saragih receives medical suspension after first KO at UFC 316

According to MMA Fighting, Jeka Saragih has received a 60-day medical suspension from UFC following his first career knockout loss at UFC 316 Newark.

The fighter from Simalungun — fell in just 28 seconds after taking a clean left hook to the chin from Yoo Joo-sang in their featherweight bout in New Jersey.

With a record of 14 wins and 5 losses over his nine-year career, the former One Pride MMA champion dropped in a face plant position — unable to brace himself while losing consciousness.

The UFC medical team immediately provided first aid to Saragih after the referee stopped the fight — though he had taken one additional strike while already unconscious.
