JDT only ranks 5th in ASEAN highest attendance list

According to ASEAN Football data, Johor Darul Takzim — the 11-time consecutive Malaysian League champions — only managed to secure fifth place in Southeast Asian football attendance rankings for the 2024-2025 season.

The club owned by Tunku Ismail Ibni Ibrahim was outperformed by four Indonesian clubs that made it to the top 10:

• Persis Solo
• Persebaya Surabaya
• Persib Bandung
• Persija Jakarta

The rankings were compiled based on average home game attendance in respective competitions — with Persis Solo placing 9th with an average of 7,491 spectators per match.
