Jay Idzes discusses changes in Indonesia national team squad

Jay Idzes — captain of Indonesia National Team — responded to Australian media questions regarding the Garuda Squad’s new composition.

Over the past three years, the Garuda Squad has undergone a major transformation — PSSI actively recruits diaspora talents playing in Europe to strengthen the national team.

Currently, Patrick Kluivert’s squad includes 20 naturalized players, with five new additions:

• Ole Romeny
• Joey Pelupessy
• Dean James
• Emil Audero
• Septian Bagaskara

Four of these five players have joined through naturalization to reinforce the Indonesian national team.
