Japan vs Indonesia Lineup: Beckham Putra and Yance Sayuri Start

The lineup for the Japan vs Indonesia match in Group C of the third round of the 2026 Asian World Cup Qualifiers has been announced. This match will take place at Suita City Football Stadium, Osaka, on Tuesday (June 10, 2025) at 17:35 WIB. Indonesia’s head coach, Patrick Kluivert, has made several rotations by starting Beckham Putra and Yance Sayuri. Both will be part of the attacking line alongside Ole Romeny.

The return of Maarten Paes and Marselino Ferdinan, who were previously suspended due to yellow card accumulation, does not see them immediately included in the starting eleven. In midfield, Kluivert has entrusted positions to Kevin Diks, Thom Haye, Joey Pelupessy, and Dean James. At the back, the absence of Rizky Ridho due to a hamstring injury means the defensive trio of Mees Hilgers, Jay Idzes, and Justin Hubner will be relied upon to protect main goalkeeper Emil Audero.

Here is the Indonesia national team lineup:

  • Goalkeeper: Emil Audero
  • Defenders: Justin Hubner, Jay Idzes, Mees Hilgers
  • Midfielders: Yance Sayuri, Joey Pelupessy, Thom Haye, Kevin Diks, Dean James
  • Forwards: Beckham Putra, Ole Romeny

This rotation is expected to provide a surprise and positive result for Indonesia in this tough away match against hosts Japan.
