Japan Coach Praises Development of Indonesia National Team Under Kluivert

Ahead of World Cup 2026 qualification match, Japan national team coach, Hajime Moriyasu, has shared his assessment of Indonesia’s national team development under Patrick Kluivert’s leadership.

The two teams will meet at Suita Football City Stadium on Tuesday afternoon WIB — a match that holds no decisive implications as both teams’ qualification status is already secured.

Japan has secured their ticket to World Cup 2026 as Group C winners, while Indonesia will proceed to the fourth round of qualifications.

“I think their level has increased with every activity in preparation for the World Cup,” Moriyasu told Gekisaka.
