According to Leicester City’s official website, Jamie Vardy has announced that he will be leaving the club at the end of the current season, marking the conclusion of his remarkable 13-year journey with The Foxes.

The announcement comes just three days after Leicester City’s relegation to the Championship was confirmed, following a 1-0 defeat to Liverpool.

A Heartfelt Goodbye

“I’ve been here for so long that I truly thought this would never end,” stated Vardy in his official announcement.

Leicester City has been my second home, an extension of my family, my life for 13 years. This club, the city, its people, they mean everything to me and my family.”
