Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi Signs Two Korean League Star Players

Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi has announced the addition of two foreign players from Korean Volleyball League — Leonardo Leyva Martinez from Cuba and Kyle Russell from the United States — for the upcoming Proliga 2025 final four in Kediri.

Martinez, who plays as an outside hitter, joins after earning MVP honors with league champions Cheonen Hyundai Capital Skywalker. Meanwhile, Russell — an experienced opposite player in Korea — recently led Incheon Korean Air Jumbos to a runner-up finish in the league.

Russell has an extensive history in Korean league with experience playing for several clubs:

• Suwon Kepko Viktorm (2020-2021)
• Daejeon Samsung Bluefangs (2021-2022)
• Incheon Korean Air Jumbos (2024-2025)

Through the club’s social media posts, Russell has been seen participating in training sessions with Rendy Tamamilang and teammates, while Martinez has not yet appeared in training.
