Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi Signs Two Korean League Star Players

Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi has announced the addition of two foreign players from Korean Volleyball LeagueLeonardo Leyva Martinez from Cuba and Kyle Russell from the United States — for the upcoming Proliga 2025 final four in Kediri.

Martinez, who plays as an outside hitter, joins after earning MVP honors with league champions Cheonen Hyundai Capital Skywalker. Meanwhile, Russell — an experienced opposite player in Korea — recently led Incheon Korean Air Jumbos to a runner-up finish in the league.

Russell has an extensive history in Korean league with experience playing for several clubs:

  • Suwon Kepko Viktorm (2020-2021)
  • Daejeon Samsung Bluefangs (2021-2022)
  • Incheon Korean Air Jumbos (2024-2025)

Through the club’s social media posts, Russell has been seen participating in training sessions with Rendy Tamamilang and teammates, while Martinez has not yet appeared in training.
