Jafar/Felisha Secure Debut Victory at 2025 Asian Championships

Indonesian mixed doubles pair, Jafar Hidayatullah/Felisha Alberta Nathaniel Pasaribu, recorded a victory in their debut at the 2025 Asian Championships taking place at the Ningbo Olympic Sports Center, China.

Facing home representatives Chen Xing/Zhang Chi, the Indonesian pair — competing without seeded status — managed to secure victory through a three-game battle.

In the opening game, Jafar/Felisha struggled — falling behind 3-8 in the early stages. Despite efforts to close the gap to 4-8, the Indonesian pair remained trailing at the interval with a score of 11-6.

After the break, pressure from Cheng/Zhang intensified — making it difficult for Jafar/Felisha to develop their game. Though they managed to reach 10-15, the seventh-seeded Chinese pair closed the first game with a score of 20-11.
