Jafar/Felisha Advance To Taipei Open 2025 Semifinals

Jafar Hidayatullah and Felisha Alberta Nathaniel Pasaribu, Indonesia’s rising mixed doubles pair, have advanced to the semifinals of Taipei Open 2025 held at Taipei Arena, Taiwan.

In the quarterfinals, Jafar/Felisha delivered a commanding performance to defeat host nation representatives Ye Hong Wei/Nicole Gonzales Chan in straight games.

The Indonesian duo will next face Chen Tang Jie/Chan Wen Tse in the semifinals — the Malaysian pair who previously eliminated fellow Indonesians Bobby Setiabudi/Melati Daeva Oktavianti in the earlier round.

The first game showcased Jafar/Felisha’s dominance, as they maintained their momentum throughout and secured the win with a 21-16 score.

In the second game, the Indonesian pair continued their sharp form. After a tight exchange in the opening minutes, they pulled away with three consecutive points to take a 5-2 lead, setting the tone for the remainder of the match.
