Jafar/Felisha Claim First Win at Indonesia Open 2025

Indonesia’s mixed doubles pair, Jafar Hidayatullah/Felisha Alberta Nathaniel Pasaribu, marked a milestone as the first Indonesian representatives to secure a win at the Indonesia Open 2025, held at Istora Senayan, Jakarta.

In the round of 32 match that lasted 31 minutes, the young Indonesian duo convincingly defeated Malaysian pair, Wong Tien Chi/Lim Chiew Sien, with a straight-game score of 21-11, 21-16.

At the beginning of the first game, Jafar/Felisha trailed 4-6, but quickly leveled at 7-7 before taking control with a 10-7 lead. A powerful smash from Felisha that couldn’t be returned by the opponents helped the Indonesian pair secure a four-point lead at the mid-game interval.
