Jadon Sancho saves Chelsea from defeat against Ipswich Town

Jadon Sancho became Chelsea’s hero by saving his team from defeat after falling 0-2 behind against Ipswich Town in the 32nd week of Premier League at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues — who were pushed out of the Champions League spots a day before — needed a victory to reclaim their position in the top four of the Premier League standings.

Chelsea, who remain unbeaten at home throughout 2025 — including five consecutive Premier League victories — faced a challenge from a relegation-threatened team.

Ipswich Town, currently occupying 18th place in the standings — trailing 12 points from the safety zone — have managed only one win and two draws in their last 12 Premier League matches since the start of the year.
