Jacob Misiorowski injured during impressive MLB debut

Jacob Misiorowski experienced an unforgettable MLB debut with the Milwaukee Brewers — dominating before being forced to leave the field due to injury against the St. Louis Cardinals.

The talented pitcher showed impressive performance with no hits allowed through five innings, but had to exit the game after slipping on the pitcher’s mound while starting the sixth inning.

Before his injury, Misiorowski showcased extraordinary throwing velocity — 13 of his 81 pitches reached speeds of 100 mph or higher. He recorded five strikeouts and three walks before being replaced by Nick Mears.

The Brewers led 6-0 when Misiorowski left the game. The Cardinals finally got their first hit in the seventh inning through Willson Contreras who successfully hit the ball to center field against Aaron Ashby.
