Jack Miller Remains Optimistic About MotoGP Future Despite Team Changes

Jack Miller faces an interesting contract situation ahead of the 2026 season as Toprak Razgatlioglu joins Pramac Racing. The 30-year-old Australian remains optimistic about maintaining his position in the team.

Miller emphasizes his preference to continue competing in MotoGP — a championship that he believes offers the most extreme and sophisticated motorcycle technology in the world.

“I could go to Superbikes and make better money, but I’m not here for that. I’m here to try and race the best in the world,” Miller explained.

Facing contract uncertainty, the experienced rider remains calm.

“This is not a new situation for me. It’s just Groundhog Day 12 months on! So I’m not stressed,” he stated.

Regarding Yamaha’s V4 engine development, Miller shared his experience seeing the prototype firsthand.

“It was next door, I went and sat on it. I took a heap of photos for blackmail!” he joked. “It sounds really cool though it’s still in early development stages.”
