Iris reveals her main strengths as Indonesian Women’s National Team goalkeeper

Iris, goalkeeper for the Indonesian Women’s National Team, reveals her unique approach to goalkeeping — focusing on communication and comprehensive field observation.

“I strive to be someone who communicates on the field because I see the whole picture,” states Iris.

The goalkeeper highlights her excellence in handling one-on-one situations — a crucial aspect of her role as the team’s last line of defense.

“I want to be that kind of person for the team, training everyone. I think I’m good at 1v1 situations. I think I’ll show what I have and everyone will like it,” she explains.
