Iris de Rouw ready for debut with Indonesian Women’s National Team

According to Bolasport.com, naturalized goalkeeper Iris de Rouw officially joined the Indonesian Women’s National Team after obtaining citizenship status earlier this month.

The 20-year-old player of Indonesian-Dutch descent immediately joined the national team training camp — beginning her journey with the Garuda Pertiwi squad.

“I chose to represent the Indonesian Women’s National Team because of a calling in my soul,” stated de Rouw.

The team under Satoru Mochizuki’s guidance will soon face their first challenge in the 2026 Women’s Asian Cup Qualifiers at Indomilk Arena Stadium, Tangerang.

In the tournament starting later this month, Indonesia is placed in Group D alongside:

  • Chinese Taipei
  • Kyrgyzstan
  • Pakistan
