Cristian Chivu Appointed as New Inter Milan Coach

According to Fabrizio Romano, Inter Milan has appointed Cristian Chivu as their new head coach for the upcoming season.

The former Inter player — who previously managed Parma — has signed a contract until June 2027, replacing Simone Inzaghi at Giuseppe Meazza.

“Cristian Chivu signs as new Inter coach until June 2027, here we go!” wrote Romano on his official X account.

This announcement came after negotiations with Cesc Fabregas failed to reach an agreement earlier in the day — leading the club to trust the coaching position to their former player.
