Inter Milan and Monterrey advance to Club World Cup 2025 Round of 16

In the final Group E match of the 2025 Club World Cup held at Rose Bowl Stadium, Monterrey secured their ticket to the Round of 16 with a commanding 4-0 victory over Urawa Red Diamonds.

Domenec Torrent’s squad dominated with three first-half goals — Nelson Deossa opened the scoring in the 30th minute, followed by German Berterame in the 34th, and Jesus Corona in the 39th. Berterame then sealed the victory with his second goal in injury time.

The Mexican side finished as Group E runners-up with 5 points, while Inter Milan claimed the top spot after defeating River Plate in the other fixture.
