Inter Miami ready to face PSG in Club World Cup round of 16

Javier Mascherano, Inter Miami’s head coach, emphasizes his team needs to deliver an almost perfect performance against Paris Saint-Germain in the Club World Cup round of 16.

PSG – fresh from winning their first UEFA Champions League with a commanding 5-0 victory over Inter Milan – presents a formidable challenge for the MLS club.

“We’re not naive and we know we’re the weaker team, but that doesn’t mean you can kill us off beforehand. We’re going to fight,” stated Mascherano.

Inter Miami advanced to the knockout stage after securing two draws and one victory against FC Porto in Group A. Midfielder Federico Redondo stresses – the team must be cautious against PSG’s dangerous players.

Lionel Messi, who previously played for PSG for two seasons, will be crucial for Inter Miami. The winner of this match will face either Bayern Munich or Flamengo in the next round.
