Inter Miami held to draw by Palmeiras in dramatic match

Inter Miami had to settle for a point against Palmeiras as the match ended in a 2-2 draw. The home team’s goals scored by Tadeo Allende and Luis Suarez were answered by Paulinho and Mauricio in the final minutes.

Palmeiras, trailing by two goals, managed to mount a comeback — starting with Paulinho’s goal in the 80th minute through a shot in the penalty box after receiving a pass from Allan. The momentum continued when Mauricio equalized seven minutes later with a powerful strike from inside the penalty area.
