Insania Reveals Tobi’s New Role in Team Liquid

Insania Team Liquid

Team Liquid’s veteran support Aydan “iNSaNiA” Sarkohi recently shared an update about his condition and the status of stand-in Tobias “Tobi” Buchner, who had replaced him in several crucial matches.

Due to suspected health issues, iNSaNiA was temporarily replaced by Tobi starting from PGL Wallachia Season 5, and there were concerns that he might miss Dota 2 Esports World Cup 2025 if his condition didn’t improve. However, the Swedish player has now rejoined his team and traveled to Saudi Arabia in his usual role.

This situation sparked curiosity within the Dota 2 community, as Tobi was no longer seen with the team after stepping down from Liquid’s active roster. iNSaNiA then clarified that Tobi remains part of the organization and has traveled with them for EWC 2025.

He further explained that Tobi has been promoted to a coaching role for Liquid during the tournament. The 31-year-old expressed gratitude for Tobi’s contributions during boot camp, stating that his insights have helped implement new strategies, positively impacting the team’s gameplay.

So far, Liquid has not confirmed Tobi’s status beyond EWC 2025. However, if everything goes well, there’s a strong chance he will remain with the team to improve their performance ahead of The International 2025.
