Infantino confident Club World Cup opener will be sold out

Gianni Infantino, FIFA President, declares that the Club World Cup opening match between Inter Miami CF and Al Ahly at Hard Rock Stadium will be packed — despite Ticketmaster data showing thousands of tickets remain unsold.

Ticket prices that were initially set between $250-350 have now seen a dramatic reduction — dropping to as low as $55 to attract more spectators.

“Yes, Hard Rock will be full. We will have a great atmosphere. It will be historic with two historic teams for very different reasons,” stated Infantino.

Regarding security and travel restrictions implemented by the government, Infantino emphasized that FIFA has received assurance — that the policy makes exceptions for athletes participating in major sporting events.

The tournament featuring 32 teams will run from June 14 to July 13, 2025 — marking the first edition with an expanded format.
