Indra Sjafri officially takes position as PSSI Acting Technical Director

Indra Sjafri takes on a new role as the Acting Technical Director of PSSI after previously serving as the Indonesia U-20 national team coach.

The position confirmation was delivered directly by Indra Sjafri during a media meeting on Friday (11/7).

“Yes, I am now the Acting Technical Director (PSSI),” stated Indra Sjafri.

The West Sumatra-born coach approached various questions cautiously — particularly regarding foreign player regulations and U-23 players in Liga 1.

“I think I need to study first as this is new, we will bring it to the technical department meeting to discuss the benefits and recommendations,” he explained.
