Indonesian women’s volleyball team secures fifth place at AVC Nations Cup 2025

The Indonesian women’s national volleyball team — under coach Octavian‘s guidance — secured fifth place at the AVC Nations Cup 2025 in Dong Anh Arena, Hanoi, Vietnam.

In today’s placement match, Octavian‘s squad defeated Iran with a score of 3-1 (25-17, 25-15, 23-25, 25-20). Medi Yoku emerged as the top scorer with 16 points, while Ersandrian Devega Salsabilah contributed 15 points.

This victory serves as redemption for Indonesia’s loss to Iran in their Group B opener. The national team demonstrated significant improvement — winning four consecutive matches after suffering three defeats at the beginning of the tournament.
