Indonesian women’s volleyball team secures fifth place at AVC Nations Cup 2025

The Indonesian women’s volleyball team secured fifth place at the AVC Nations Cup 2025 held at Dong Anh Gymnasium, Hanoi, Vietnam.

Coach Octavian‘s squad led by Sandrina Devega Salsabila defeated Iran with a score of 3-1 (25-17, 25-15, 23-25, 25-20) in the 5-6 placement match.

The match was intense — both teams traded points early in the first set. Iran led 14-11, but the introduction of Putri Agustin and Arneta as setter brought positive changes to Indonesia’s gameplay.

Medi Yoku delivered an impressive performance with crucial points — helping Indonesia level the score at 15-15 before claiming the first set. This victory avenged their 2-3 loss to Iran in the Group B opener.
