Indonesian women’s volleyball team rises in rankings after AVC Nations Cup 2025

The Indonesian women’s national volleyball team — led by Yolla Yuliana and her teammates — achieved a notable success at the AVC Nations Cup 2025.

Despite missing the semifinals, the Red and White squad bounced back by securing fifth place after winning four consecutive matches.

• Conquered Hong Kong
• Finished with victory against Iran

In the fifth-place deciding match in Hanoi, Vietnam, Indonesia won 3-1 (25-17, 25-15, 23-25, 25-20) against Iran.

This positive outcome brought significant impact — Indonesia gained additional 5.71 points in the FIVB women’s senior rankings and moved up from 52nd to 48th position with 58.03 total points.

This achievement brings Indonesia closer to Philippines, who stand two spots above with 71.78 points at 46th position.
