Indonesian women’s volleyball team ready to face Hong Kong at AVC Nations Cup

The Indonesian women’s national volleyball team has shown signs of revival at the AVC Nations Cup 2025 — this momentum is ready to be carried into the next match.

After suffering three losses at the start of the tournament, the national coach’s squad managed to bounce back with two decisive 3-0 victories over Mongolia and New Zealand in Pool B.

Despite failing to secure a semifinal ticket due to not finishing in the top two positions of the group, the team led by Yolla Yuliana still has a chance to compete for fifth place.

“The match against Hong Kong will be important. We can still compete for 5-6 placement,” stated Yolla Yuliana to the AVC Nations Cup media team.

The 5-8 placement playoff between Indonesia and Hong Kong will take place tomorrow at Dong Anh Gymnasium, Hanoi, Vietnam.
