Indonesian women’s volleyball team finally secures victory at AVC Nations Cup

The Indonesian women’s national volleyball team has moved up from the bottom of standings after defeating Mongolia 3-0 (25-18, 25-21, 25-23) at Dong Anh Arena, Hanoi. Wednesday’s match marked the first victory for Yolla Yuliana‘s team at the 2025 AVC Nations Cup.

Despite this important win, the Red and White team has already failed to meet the target set by PBVSI chairman Imam Sudjarwo — reaching the tournament semifinals. This setback came after Indonesia suffered three consecutive losses against:

• Iran
• Philippines
• Kazakhstan

The women’s volleyball team still has one remaining match in the group phase — facing New Zealand tomorrow Thursday at the same venue.
