Indonesian volleyball team to face Vietnam in AVC Nations Cup 2025 classification

The Indonesian volleyball team led by Rivan Nurmulki suffered a defeat against Pakistan in the AVC Nations Cup 2025 quarterfinals — repeating the same result as two years ago when they lost to Thailand.

Despite failing to advance to semifinals, the Indonesian team still has a chance to improve their ranking through the 5-8 classification round held at Isa Bin Rashed Hall, Manama.

Indonesia will face Vietnam in an ASEAN derby match — a familiar opponent after several regional encounters. The head-to-head record shows Indonesia’s dominance, including two victories in last year’s SEA V League.
