Indonesian volleyball team ready to face Thailand in AVC Nations Cup 2025 opener

The Indonesian men’s national volleyball team will start their AVC Nations Cup 2025 journey against Thailand — the match is scheduled to take place at Isa Bin Rashid Volleyball Hall, Riffa, Manama, Bahrain, tomorrow at 23:00 WIB.

The last meeting between the two teams occurred about two years ago at the AVC Challenge Cup 2023 — where Rivan Nurmulki and teammates had to acknowledge Thailand’s superiority with a score of 2-3 (20-25, 27-25, 25-20, 16-25, 12-15) in the quarter-finals.

In last year’s tournament, Indonesia fielded a young squad strengthened by Fauzan Nibras and Rama Fauzan as senior players were focused on Proliga 2024 — resulting in the team only managing to finish in 11th position with one victory over Taiwan.
