Indonesian volleyball team loses to Pakistan in AVC Nations Cup quarterfinals

The Indonesian national volleyball team — led by coach Jeff Jiang Jie — had to concede defeat to Pakistan in the AVC Nations Cup 2025 quarterfinal match at Isa Bin Rashed Hall, Manama, Bahrain.

The Red and White squad featuring Doni Haryono, Farhan Halim, and Rivan Nurmulki showed impressive performance in the opening set — securing a 25-20 victory.

Pakistan then mounted a comeback and displayed dominance in the next three sets — finishing the match with a final score of 1-3 (25-20, 21-25, 20-25, 17-25).

Interestingly, statistics showed Indonesia actually had the upper hand in attacks — accumulating 56 points compared to Pakistan’s 50 points, but struggled in blocking defense.
