Indonesian volleyball team faces Vietnam after AVC Nations Cup quarterfinal exit

The Indonesian national volleyball team led by Rivan Nurmulki had to acknowledge Pakistan’s superiority in the AVC Nations Cup 2025 quarterfinals — repeating the same result as two years ago when defeated by Thailand.

Despite failing to advance to the semifinals, the Red and White team still has a chance to improve their ranking — they will compete in the 5-8 classification round held at Isa Bin Rashed Hall, Manama, Bahrain.

In the first classification match, Indonesia will face ASEAN rival — Vietnam on Sunday (22/6). The head-to-head record shows Indonesia’s dominance, including two victories in last year’s SEA V League.
