Indonesian volleyball team faces Bahrain in crucial AVC Nations Cup match

The Indonesia men’s volleyball team under coach Jeff Jiang Jie has shown impressive performance at the AVC Nations Cup 2025 taking place at Isa Bin Rashed Hall, Manama Bahrain.

In yesterday’s Pool A opener, Farhan Halim and his teammates managed to overcome a two-set deficit to defeat Thailand 3-2 (22-25, 22-25, 25-19, 25-23, 15-8) — a victory that eliminated Thailand from the tournament.

The Red and White team now faces a tough challenge — they must defeat host nation Bahrain, currently leading Pool A, to secure their quarter-final ticket as group winners.

Despite the pressure of playing away from home, Indonesia holds an advantage with their higher world ranking compared to Bahrain — a factor that could prove crucial in this decisive match.
