Indonesian U-23 team goalkeeper coach evaluates selection process

Sjoerd Woudenberg, the Indonesian U-23 national team goalkeeper coach, shared his evaluation regarding the goalkeeper selection process for ASEAN Cup U-23 2025.

In the initial selection phase, six goalkeepers were given the opportunity to demonstrate their abilities:

• Muhammad Ardiansyah
• Cahya Supriyadi
• Daffa Fasya
• Sheva Sanggasi
• Husna Al Malik
• Erlangga Setyo

After the observation process — the first three names secured their positions in the final squad.

“In my opinion, the camp has been going very well so far. We started with six goalkeepers because we wanted to see all goalkeepers directly and evaluate them through their training methods and help their development,” stated Woudenberg.
