Indonesian Representatives Eliminated from Japan Open 2025 Semifinals

According to Bolasport.com, all Indonesian representatives have been eliminated from Japan Open 2025 taking place at Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium. The pair Lanny Tria Mayasari/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti — Indonesia’s last standing representatives — had to acknowledge defeat against Liu Sheng Shu/Tan Ning in the quarterfinals.

In men’s doubles, not only Indonesia failed to advance — China also couldn’t secure a spot in the semifinals. The pair Liang Wei Keng/Wang Chang had to surrender to Ong Yew Sin/Teo Ee Yi with scores of 23-25, 19-21.

This victory advances the Malaysian representatives to meet South Korean pair Kim Won-ho/Seo Seung-jae in the semifinals scheduled for Saturday (19/7/2025).
