Taipei Open 2025 Tournament Overview

According to the BWF schedule, the Taipei Open 2025 badminton tournament will take place at Taipei Arena from May 6–11. This event continues the international badminton circuit following the conclusion of the Sudirman Cup 2025.

Indonesia Sends a Strong Contingent

Indonesia will send 16 representatives to this BWF Super 300 tournament. Among them are rising stars Alwi Farhan and Moh Zaki Ubaidillah, who recently gained attention with their impressive debut at the Sudirman Cup.

Mixed doubles pairs such as Rehan Naufal Kusharjanto/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja and Dejan Ferdinansyah/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti are also included in the lineup, along with women’s singles hopeful Ester Nurumi Tri Wardoyo.

New Women’s Doubles Pairing Debuts

A key highlight of the Taipei Open 2025 will be the debut of a new women’s doubles pair: Apriyani Rahayu partnering with Febi Setianingrum. This strategic change follows recent performance evaluations at the Orleans Masters 2025 and the All England Open 2025.

Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti, formerly paired with Apriyani, will now team up once again with Lanny Tria Mayasari.

Qualification Starts Tuesday

The tournament kicks off with qualification rounds and part of the round of 32 starting on Tuesday, May 6.
