Three Indonesian National Team Players Arrive in Bali Ahead of China Match

Three Indonesian national team players currently playing abroad — Marselino Ferdinan, Asnawi Mangkualam, and Ronaldo Kwateh — have arrived in Bali ahead of the crucial 2026 World Cup qualifier against China.

Call-up Status Still Unclear from PSSI and Coach Kluivert

Despite their arrival, the status of the three players remains uncertain, as neither the Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI) nor head coach Patrick Kluivert has released the official list of players called up for the training camp.

Asnawi and Ronaldo Return After ASEAN Cup Stint

Asnawi Mangkualam, currently playing for Port FC, last represented the national team during the 2024 ASEAN Cup under former coach Shin Tae-yong. He missed the matches against Australia and Bahrain earlier this year due to strong competition at right-back — with Sandy Walsh, Eliano Reijnders, and Kevin Diks preferred in that position.

Meanwhile, Ronaldo Kwateh, who has earned just six international caps, also last appeared for the national side during the 2024 ASEAN Cup. His inclusion in the current camp may signal a new opportunity to prove his value ahead of the next qualifying match.
