BWF Rankings: Two Indonesian Mixed Doubles Pairs See Improvement

According to the latest BWF Week 19 rankings, two Indonesian mixed doubles pairs have moved up in the global standings: Rehan Naufal Kusharjanto/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja and Rinov Rivaldy/Pitha Haningtyas Mentari.

Rinov/Pitha Deliver Indonesia’s Only Mixed Doubles Victory

At the Sudirman Cup 2025, Rinov/Pitha earned Indonesia’s only win in the mixed doubles category by defeating Callum Hemming/Estelle Van Leeuwen of England in a tight match: 21-15, 15-21, 21-19.

Rehan/Gloria Face Tough Matches in Group Phase

Meanwhile, Rehan/Gloria were defeated during the group stage match against India. Gloria was later selected to compete in two more matches — facing Denmark in the group stage and Thailand in the quarter-finals.

Mixed Doubles Sector Underperforms for Indonesia

The mixed doubles event was statistically the weakest link for Indonesia during the Sudirman Cup, recording the lowest win percentage across all disciplines for the national team.
