Indonesian men’s volleyball team ready for AVC Nations Cup with best squad

The Indonesian men’s national volleyball team is preparing for the AVC Nations Cup 2025 — a tournament that will serve as a proving ground after last year’s underwhelming performance.

After finishing 11th out of 12 participants in the previous edition, Indonesia is now fielding its best squad combining senior and junior players. A total of 16 players have gathered at the training camp in Surabaya.

Indonesia’s attacking line is strengthened by skilled strikers — Rivan Nurmulki, Doni Haryono, Farhan Halim, and Fahri Septian. Meanwhile, young talents from Proliga 2025 also get their chance, including:

  • Boy Arnez Arabi
  • Jordan Susanto
  • Rama Fazza Fauzan

At the middle blocker position, Muhammad Ega Yuri Pradana from Surabaya Samator has emerged as one of the standout players among the five called up. The national team is scheduled to depart in mid-June.
