Indonesian Karate Team ready for SEAKF Championship in Brunei

In a spirited atmosphere, Hadi Tjahjanto as the Chairman of PB Forki officially sent off the Indonesian National Karate Team for the 12th SEAKF Championship 2025 in Brunei Darussalam — the ceremony was held at the Air Force Command School (Sekkau), Halim, East Jakarta.

“You are selected athletes from hundreds of thousands of karate athletes across Indonesia, chosen through rigorous selection process up to national level. This is a great honor and proof that you are the best,” stated Hadi Tjahjanto.

After achieving proud results at last year’s SEAKF Bangkok with:

• 10 gold medals
• 8 silver medals
• 13 bronze medals

Indonesia now sends a stronger contingent — consisting of 53 athletes in Cadet, Junior, and U-21 categories, plus support from 22 senior athletes currently undergoing national training camp in Bali.
