Indonesian badminton team holds simulation match against Russia ahead of Asian Junior Championships

The Indonesian badminton team held a simulation match against the Russian team at PBSI National Training Center in Cipayung, East Jakarta — preparation for the upcoming 2025 Asian Junior Championships.

The team led by men’s singles player Moh Zaki Ubaidillah outperformed the Russian team with a score of 110-80 in the morning session, while the second session is scheduled for the evening.

Head of National Training Achievement Development and Team Manager Eng Hian shared his views on this simulation.

“Today we had the opportunity to conduct a simulation against the Russian team. This is certainly good especially for athletes to experience the direct atmosphere with the point system that will be used in the upcoming AJC,” said Eng Hian.

The Indonesian team has undergone a training camp for two weeks and conducted several internal simulations before facing the Asian Junior Championships which will take place on July 18-22.
