Indonesia women’s volleyball team to face Hong Kong for 5-6th place in AVC Nations Cup

Indonesia women’s national volleyball team concluded their group stage campaign at the AVC Nations Cup 2025 with two wins and three losses — securing fourth place in Group B.

Yolla Yuliana’s squad recorded victories against Mongolia and New Zealand with identical 3-0 scorelines, but fell short against stronger opponents Iran (2-3), Philippines (1-3), and Kazakhstan (0-3).

In their final group stage match at Dong Anh Gymnasium, Hanoi, the Indonesian team displayed solid performance defeating New Zealand with a score of 3-0 (25-14, 25-15, 25-19).

Despite missing out on the semifinals, Indonesia still has a chance to secure fifth place — they will face Hong Kong, third-placed team from Group A, in the 5-6th place playoff match.
