Indonesia Women’s Team to Face Pakistan in 2026 Asian Cup Qualification

Indonesia women’s national team — known as Garuda Pertiwi — will face Pakistan in the 2026 AFC Women’s Asian Cup qualification match at Sport Centre Kelapa Dua Tangerang Stadium.

This match marks the second game for Mochizuki Satoru‘s squad after securing a narrow 1-0 victory against Kyrgyzstan in their previous encounter.

“We watched Pakistan’s match against Taiwan. Pakistan didn’t play badly, they are quite a strong team,” stated Mochizuki Satoru.

“In my opinion, we should maintain more ball possession, but players sometimes make mistakes in control and passing, resulting in losing the ball,” he added.

The Japanese coach emphasized — despite Pakistan’s recent minor results, his team cannot underestimate their opponent’s strength.
