The 2026 Women’s Asian Cup Qualifiers have kicked off with positive results for Southeast Asian nations — including Indonesia’s women’s national team defeating Kyrgyzstan.

In the first Group D match at Sport Centre Kelapa Dua Stadium, Tangerang, Isa Warps became the hero of victory by scoring the lone goal in the 66th minute.

Thailand also demonstrated impressive performance — crushing Iraq with a decisive 7-0 score in Chiang Mai after previously defeating Timor Leste 4-0 in their Group B opener.
