Indonesia women’s team ready to face Kyrgyzstan in 2026 Asian Cup qualifiers

The Indonesia women’s national team under PSSI led by Erick Thohir — begins their 2026 Asian Cup qualification journey against Kyrgyzstan on Sunday evening.

Following a challenging experience at the 2022 Asian Cup where they conceded 28 goals in the group stage, the national team now presents a fresh outlook under Japanese coach — Satoru Mochizuki.

The naturalization program has become one of the team strengthening strategies with six new players:
