Indonesia women’s team falls to Pakistan in 2026 Asian Cup qualification

Indonesia women’s national team had to acknowledge Pakistan’s superiority with a 0-2 score in the 2026 AFC Women’s Asian Cup Qualification Group D match at Sport Centre Kelapa Dua Tangerang Stadium.

Pakistan opened the scoring through a counterattack — Nadia’s shot from the right side accidentally deflected off Gea’s foot and changed direction into Indonesia’s goal.

Pakistan’s lead increased after Emily Julia fouled Mariam Mahmood in the penalty box — Suha Hiraini successfully converted the penalty kick to the left side of the goal.

In the second half, Indonesia tried to bounce back through Gea’s header that missed the target — Pakistan’s solid defense managed to contain Garuda Pertiwi’s attacks until the final whistle.
