Indonesia Women’s Team Coach Satoru Mochizuki Masters National Anthem

Indonesia Women’s Team Coach Satoru Mochizuki Masters National Anthem

In an impressive development, Satoru Mochizuki — the Japanese coach of Indonesia women’s national team — has successfully memorized the Indonesian national anthem Indonesia Raya.

The tactician appointed in February 2024 has shown significant progress — he no longer needs text assistance when singing the national anthem before matches.

This was clearly demonstrated when Indonesia women’s team faced Kyrgyzstan in Group D of the 2026 Women’s Asian Cup Qualifiers at Indomilk Arena, Tangerang — the 51-year-old coach sang Indonesia Raya fluently without guidance.

Mochizuki’s dedication to learning Indonesian culture is not limited to the national anthem — he has also been actively studying the Indonesian language during his tenure leading Garuda Pertiwi.
