Three Indonesian Women’s Doubles Face Tough Challenge at Malaysia Masters 2025

Three Indonesian women’s doubles pairsLanny Tria Mayasari / Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti, Apriyani Rahayu / Febi Setianingrum, and Meilysa Trias Puspitasari / Rachel Allessya Rose — are set to begin their campaign at the Malaysia Masters 2025.

Their round of 32 matches will be held at the Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur, with three pairs scheduled to compete tomorrow, while another pair — Febriana Dwipuji Kusuma / Amallia Cahaya Pratiwi — will take to the court the following day.

Indonesian pairs to face seeded Chinese opposition

Two of Indonesia’s duos have been drawn against top-seeded Chinese opponents, presenting a tough early challenge:

  • Apriyani / Febi will face the 4th seeds Li Yi Jing / Luo Xu Min

  • Trias / Rachel are set to challenge the top seeds Liu Sheng Shu / Tan Ning

These opening matches will serve as a crucial test for Indonesia’s next generation of women’s doubles talent, especially with the Paris 2024 Olympics fast approaching.
